Can I get the old layout back?

The layout has changed on Adobe Acrobat and I absolutely hate it. Is there any way to set it back to the previous layout? I think I should at least have an option of using the new or previous layout.

    If your critical workflows are impacted, you can switch to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner of Windows and View Menu on MacOS.

    I too despite the new set up.  I liked the +/-/rotate options at the TOP of my page so I could easily find them.  Having them on the far right side at the bottom is just not ergonomically friendly.  Those are the THREE options I use most frequently and I hate having to mouse down to them each and every time I open a PDF, which is a literal PAIN if I have multiple windows open because I will have resize, minimize or drag  another window out of the way  in order to actually get to the toolbar I need.  Please switch it back to having the toolbars on top and not on the sides.  That is just obnoxious.

        I have the same problem. I have a MacBook Pro running Adobe Acrobat Pro from Creative Cloud. I spend a vast majority of my workday editing PDFs—some of which are quite long. (I have worked on three 100+ page documents recently.) Not having a visible scroll bar—top to bottom or side to side—is a huge hindrance to my work, because I am constantly scrolling. Mouse scrolling works for a page at a time, but I sometimes want to scroll several pages, so I click in the "ditch" to move quickly up or down/from left to right in the document, or I click on the "handle" and drag it down several pages or across the page.

        The only way to pull up a scroll bar is to actually start scrolling with the mouse. This makes the top to bottom scroll bar visible for a moment, and if I don't get my mouse over there in time, it disappears again. If the background of my document is black, I don't see the scroll bar at all. If I don't Enable Scrolling, the scroll bar only scrolls one page at a time. If I do Enable Scrolling but then change the page display (I use a variety of display settings—sometimes I fit to width, sometimes I do a full single page, and I zoom in and out constantly), the Enable Scrolling may be turned off.

        As for the bottom scroll bar, I have to press Shift+scroll AND move the mouse to the bottom to get the scroll bar to appear—and again, if I don't get there fast enough, it doesn't appear at all.

        Now imagine having to do all of this hundreds of times a day—every extra click or key press takes extra time—time that I don't always have. Getting "familiar with the interface" isn't going to change the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to scroll, I have to go through extra steps to do it.

        I would love to go back to the old interface, but I don't actually see "Disable New Acrobat" on my view menu. Is there any other workaround for me to get my scroll bars permanently enabled? If not, can you please report another user who wants this feature back? I don't mind having to change my preferences to get my scroll bars back—but the option needs to be there. Thank you!

        We appreciate your valuable feedback! We're always looking for ways to make Acrobat better, and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.  This has been reported to the team, and they are looking into this.

         

        If you wish to return to the old UI, click the Menu option at the top left corner and select "Disable new Acrobat" from the list. If the option is not available, please share the screenshot of the options you get under Menu.

        Share the current Acrobat and OS version number.

        Thanks, Meenakshi, I did review that article—that was how I found out how to scroll horizontally. It was a life-saver, even if it's not a permanent scroll bar. 🙂 

        I do not have a "Menu" option in the top left corner of my Acrobat. (I am on a MacBook Air with the macOS Ventura 13.5.2, and I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro from the Creative Cloud, continous release version 2023.006.20320.) In other articles I've read, the "Disable new Acrobat" is supposed to be on the View menu for Mac, but I don't see it. I have attached screenshots of all of my options at the top of the screen as well as each menu expanded.
