After the last  update, I started getting this error when I tried to create pdfs.

%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
%%[Page: 1]%%
Aptos not found, using Courier.
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: show ]%%

Stack:
()

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

=====

Is this a PDF or Distiller error? Also, why is this happening? I'm getting these errors inside of Microsoft Office products now.

Hi @Carlisle1500

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please go into the Printer Properties for your Adobe PDF printer, and on the Adobe PDF Settings tab, UNCHECK "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" as shown in the screenshot below and see if that works.

@Amal. This is resolved but not by the way I thought. I used to change my fonts and then print again but now I have to use the "Save as Adobe" to do without problems. See attached. Sorry for the delay in my reply.

I want to update this post for comments.  Today, I had issues to printing again but I reformed the document  with another font but stil had problems until I did the Adobe "save" to PDF not "Print" to PDF.

Can anyone make comments on whether this is by design or still an error? I need to know how this SHOULD work. See screenshot below:

Cannot locate the setting, "Printer Properties" for Adobe PDF Printer. Why not include in searchable Help Menu?? " No results" to this search.

The printer properties are in your operating system settings.

Such as for Windows 10,  find the "Printers and Scanners"

ESAPHX_0-1732116039793.png

Click Adobe PDF

Press Manage

then Printing Preferences

then uncheck "Rely on system fonts"

then OK and you'll be set until it somehow gets checked again.
