Compare File Error - Acrobat could not create the report document

Using Acrobat Pro DC 22.001.20117 in Windows.

Open 2 files to compare, it appears to be doing the compare, but then the error displays.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

 

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message that you get, for a better understanding?

 

As you have the recent version of the application, please try to repair the installation from the help menu > repair installation and reboot the computer.

 

Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

 

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win and try using the application there and check.
