Fill and Sign RIP

New Here ,
Jul 14, 2023 Jul 14, 2023

I offer my kind and respectful regards to all Adobe DC users out there.

To Adobe, I ask... WHY OH WHY?  I have DC current as of 14 July 23. I have wasted hours of precious time trying to get to grips with review & sign under the new release. It worked OK before.  Shame on you for releasing this buggy, unusable mess. You seem to think your users are beta testers. It worked fine before, now it's junk. Among the many bugs or downgrades: cannot find a way to pre-fill the contents of fields (just gets overwritten); radio buttons no longer supported; multi line text no longer supported; title of email not editable.  Please test it properly and you'll find more.  It's your job not mine.  Thanks for wasting my day.

Oh, by the way, your system for feedback is broken too, which is why I'm posting here, and your help searches are useless as they bring up a blizzard of out of date materials.  I guess this is what a monopoly looks like.

Hi @Floral Image SC-UK

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

As you have the recent version make sure it is 23.03.20244. Go to Help > about Acrobat

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards
Amal
