How to change the width of the "add header footer" form

Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2023.001.20143 64-bit, Windows 10 21H2

How can I change the default width of the header/ footer form? I use the add footer feature A LOT. I need the actual data entry fields to be wider. I can stretch the whole form to accomplish this, but I can't make Acrobat remember that setting. I'll attach a picture as I lost my last post trying to do that....
