How to force "overflow" text from FIELD01 to automatically flow into FIELD02?

Hi!

I have a many-page long PDF and in one section 3 pages are needed to allow for pasting in large definitions of the scope of work.

I know that I can create a fillable, multi-line text field on each page which I've done (FIELD01, FIELD02, FIELD03).

What I'm wondering is if the user pastes a block of text into FIELD01 on page 1 and it's too much text to fit into FIELD01 (not using "Auto" for font size so it's not going to shrink to fit) can I force the balance of the text to flow into FIELD02 on page 2 so that he doesn't have to go back and copy what didn't paste into FIELD01 to now paste that into FIELD02 (and then so on with FIELD03)?

If that's not possible, are there any solutions to this to save him from having to go back and forth, recopying text that he already copied but that didn't fit into the field?

I hope that makes sense.

Thank you so much!!

There is no out of the box solution, but there may be a scripting solution to this. One of the scripting pros might have a hint on how to resolve this issue.

Hi!

Thank you!

Should I repost my question and check a box for "scripting" to get my question in front of them?

Again, thank you so much!! 🙂

No, don't do that.

There's actually no flawless way to do that using a script, too. You'd end up losing at least one character in the process, and back-space won't work between the fields. I suggest limiting the fields so they don't scroll. That way the user will have to manually tab to the next field to continue entering text when they reach the end of the allocated space.
