All compressed pdf files have missing words.

Tried all High medium and low version, they all have the same missing words issue.

It happens since last week.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Try File> Save-as-other> Optimized pdf. Discard everything you don't need, this method is very good at reducing file size.

If it's still not working, can you upload a sample pdf?

Hi @Volcom_1991

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the Acrobat Pro and the OS you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.06.20360 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Amal,

Thank you for your reply.

I am using the adobe online version.

Tried to save it on my local disk and try to compress it again but the result is the same.

This never happens with other files before.
