Acrobat Pro no longer displays the page layout correctly as I set it up. If I choose 'two pages (cover page)' it keeps showing a single page. Also, the first page you see is not the one indicated in the preferences. Acrobat Reader works fine. What can I do to resolve this?
Hi,
Can you share the exact version of your operating system and software.
Can you remember what was installed, updated or upgraded just before this issue happened?
Also, is thios for all documents or just a some?

Yeah! As usual, Adobe comes up with some weird settings after an app update and SIGNS the user's default settings with them (WITHOUT INFORMING THE CHANGE!). Then you search and agonise over what's wrong, what's broken! Here you have the solution, only problem is that other users who will be opening your PDF don't know that their application DOES NOT READ THE VIEW SETTINGS FROM THE FILE, so other users Acrobat will open the PDF with a view forced by Adobe developers and not by the PDF author 😞 I'm getting more and more fed up with Adobe!

Thanks for the screen shots PiolloUnderwhite!
It made for an easy fix!!
I had already found and changed the settings in the Documents and Page Display categories, but your post showed me where the "third strike" was located - the setting in the Accessiblity category!
Thank you so much!
