We know it is a public forum, and not Adobe support, but if you can't warn people about Adobe's monopolistic practices here, where can you?

Just received a quote from Adobe to renew my licenses for next year, for $180k.

Here is the difference in price from last year to this year:

2023 Creative Cloud:      $844.73

2024 Creative Cloud:      $1121.52

An increase of 32% over last year.

2023 Acrobat Pro:            $173.17

2024 Acrobat Pro:            $259.08

An increase of 49% over last year.

Don't tell me that I'm paying for the AI tools that I didn't ask for, and don't work that well yet.  If you want to sell me AI, make it a separate product and let me have my software the way I'm used to it.

Exactly!  Ever since they went to a subscription model, they've lost many of their customers.  We don't need fancy features, we just want to edit the PDFs.  That's all! Why should I pay $20/mo for things I don't need!
