Purchased Upgrade License Instead of Full License for Acrobat Standard 2020 by Mistake

Question

Stupid me thinking for some reason that I had Standard 2017 version installed on my computer but I actually only had the 2015 version. Of course now the 2020 version installer is asking for the 2017 version's serial in order to activate. Is there a way to "upgrade" the upgrade license into a full version (and pay only the difference) without having to fork out the full price outright? Or am I out of luck?

You will have to contact Adobe. This is a user to user forum so noone here can help with account issues, sorry. I don't know if they will bend on your situation, but it's worth a try... I mean, if you bought the wrong product you should be able to return it.
