"Fill & Sign" wrong default font color

re: "Fill & Sign" function default font color, was black until...  After receiving a pdf  copy for an ad that I needed to proof. The ad had a black & white reverse in it that I needed to edit. Upon completing that project I moved to another project. However, the  "Fill & Sign" function DEFAULT FONT COlOR had changed to WHITE,  which is useless. "Editing" function defaults still work fine. I have no clue on how to change the  "Fill & Sign" default color back to black, everything I have attempted has failed.

Please advise. Thanks in advance,  ZO4it

Lunch the FIll and Sign too. Before you fill or sign anything, change the color picker to Black (or whatever color you want).

You mentioned that everything you have attempted has failed. What all have you attempted?

Hi there

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the default font color has changed to white.

Are you trying to change the default color of the signature using the fill and sign tool, or the default color of the comment text in the comment tool?

To change the color of the signature, open the PDF > Go to Fill and Sign Tool > Click on the color icon as shown in the screenshot

To change the font color of the comment text. Open the PDF > Go to Comment Tool  > Add comment text > Click on the 3 dots and select text properties > In the new toolbar click on the color to change it as required.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Regards

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please try to update the application to the latest version 20.009.20074 from the help menu > Check for Updates.

If it still doesn't work, please try to repair the installation (For Windows Only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.

If it still doesn't work, please try to reset the preferences to default as described here : https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082?page=1

Let us know how it goes
