Good Morning everybody,
we currently do have a user who gets the following text at the end of the e-mail:
(Enclosed you will find the PDF file.
Download the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and comment on this PDF file - https://www.adobe.com/go/reader_download_de)
Can I somehow remove this automatic generated footer?
I couldn't find a working checkbox in the settings...
Thank you in advance and kind regards!

Ok. Just reinstalled the Acrobat Reader for our user and the link doesn't get pasted.
The things I tried before without success:
- Delte C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Adobe and start the Reader afterwards.
- Export my local registry keys and import it on the users device
- Reinstall the program via out Client Management Platform
I'm happy it works now after the reinstallation of the whole Reader. And thanks for everybody who looked into this. š

Hello @Marwin H. ,
Please explain in a little more detail how are you sending emails?
Is the user opening the emailed PDF using a web browser ?

Hi @ls_rbls
Thank you for the quick response:
The base system is Windows powered and uses the current Adobe Acrobat Reader version.
The transport process of the email isn't the issue, the mentioned "Get Adobe-signature" is.
Whenever our user opens a pdf in the Reader itself and clicks on the marked symbol; MS Outlook gets started, attaches the viewed pdf file and adds this "signature" I mentioned earlier.
I can't reproduce this "issue" on my computer but we do use the same settings, as I checked earlier this day.
It's annoying to constantly delete this signature manually and it did work perfectly fine until this morning.

Short answer: No.
Longer answer: You can remove it (or more correctly, never add it) if you attach the file using your own code, instead of using the application's built-in command, but that would require creating a custom-made script and installing it on the local machine of each user who wants to have this command.

Thank you for your response, @try67.
Now things start to get interesting: Why should it work on my notebook but not on my collegues' (same soft- and hardware)?
It did work until today's moring. Even with the built-in command, as mentioned in an earlier post.
It works on my device as well, using the marked built-in command button.
There have to be another issue or setting Ithat I am / we are missing...

Are you sure it's the same version? Look under Help - About.

We have the same issue and reinstalled Adobe last week.
Unfortunately the problem came back after one week.
I'm curious if the problem stay away on your PC before we try again, can you let me know someting in about a week?

You may need to customize the master image that you're installing from and disable automatic updates for Acrobat.

Hi @ls_rbls,
I just took a look into our Client Management Solution. (Matrix42)
As we just download the official installation package from their "marketplace" it doesn't seem like we do customize anything in the preloaded package.
But I usally doesn't administrate Matrix42 so I might could've overseen something.
I will ask my collegues about it.

Seems like Matrix42 also provides options to disable or modify update policies and also prevents installation packages from updating the User logs in.
I am not sure if this is relevant, but maybe it is:
