Shared PDFs are not showing in the "Shared by you" folder

I shared documents today and I know it has been sent because some people have already reviewed and commented on them. However, I do not see the files in the "Shared by you" folder. The previous files I've shared appear on there but nothing from today. I checked it on the website and on Acrobat Pro both do not show them.

I have restarted my computer, cleared my browser history and signed out of Adobe and still no luck. Anything else I can try to solve this issue?

Roxanne - Sending you an update. I had a support call with Adobe today and learned the following.  The "upgrade" they did to the Shared folders took away many useful features that I regularly used to track progress of the reviews.  They are receiving lots of complaints, and if they have enough, they might consider putting back some of those features...whatever.   The most useful information was the issue with the shared documents not showing up in the "Shared by you" folder.  Many browsers are no longer supported Adobe, creating either a long lag or not showing up at all.  I changed my default browser to Mozilla Firefox and tried sharing a document.  It immediatley populated in the "Shared by you" folder.    I hope this helps - it is too bad that it takes this long to get answers from Adobe - several chats, two phone calls, community support and finally a scheduled call with a support person - and the simple answer was use a different browser.

I am having a similar issue with the Shared by Others folder.  I shared documents in the past, when the user opened them, they would populate in the Shared by Others folder.  Yesterday, I shared more documents and the users received them, but they did not appear in the Shared by Others folder.  Definately a glitch going on - I have tried both phone and chat support - nobody at Adobe can seem to help figure it out.

Hi Lori,

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Is this an issue with Adobe Acrobat DC application or Acrobat Web? A small video recording of the issue would be very helpful to better understand.

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS and the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version of the Acrobat application go to help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to help > Check for updates and reboot the computer.

Also, please collect the following logs:
- Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
- Procmom logs - Windows only https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and

- Fiddler logs as described here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/troubleshoot/diagnostic-logs/run-fiddler-trace and share them via document cloud link as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html so that we can isolate the issue.

Regards

Amal

Mystery solved.  Evidently there is a BIG lag time between actually opening the document and having it show up in Shared by me or Shared by Others folders - like 24 hours.  Not ideal for those of us working on documents for review with a large team and a deadline.  Another issue with these Shared documents - For the Owner of the document, it shows me as the owner.  For the users (shared with) it shows no information.  It used to show the last time they modified it or it would show FINISHED if they were done with the document.  What happened to that information?  The only way I can see to find it now is to scroll through ALL the notifications (and I have many!) for each individual user.

My adobe version 21.07.20099 auto-updates, so I am using the latest version.  The issue is with the Adobe Acrobat DC application, but also is happening in the Acrobat web.  It seems like Support should know about the lag time - or is this a new bug?

Hi Roxanne

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Would you mind sharing the version fo the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

Also please login to document cloud here https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ and check under Documents > Shared by you.

Let us know how it goes.
