Signature not working on Mac in Adobe Acrobat Pro

The standard insert signature button is not working on Mac OS. The device has the latest updates (Acrobat is also updated). When it is pressed, nothing happens. On Windows, with the same license account, everything works as expected.

Expected behavior: to show a dropdown with signatures and scans of signatures as on Windows, or to show the possibility to add a new signature.

The correct solution appears to be to ensure your subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro is current then download the newest version of Acrobat Pro. This worked for me on a Mac using OS 12.5.1.

Hi @igolubic

We are sorry to hear that. Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Hi @Amal. ,

Thanks for your suggestion. It happens with all PDFs, even if I create a new PDF with Adobe Acrobat.

Unfortunately, none of the suggestions work. I have tried to add a signature through Preferences, but still, when I click the Sign icon or "Fill and sign..." nothing happens. I have tried removing Adobe Acrobat, but still no changes.

Hi,
This issue is still persistent. I really do not understand how it is possible that nobody took care of it. And it obviously doesn't happen to me.

Has Adobe been able to replicate the issue on Macs? It feels as if there is not an actually tested solution being offered. I too am unable to digitally sign documents with Acrobat Pro on a Mac. I am using OS 12.5.1. The latest version of OS support listed is V10.5 or later. Perhaps we are simply left to conclude that Adobe no longer supports the full range of features for Acrobat Pro on Macs.

Unfortunately, I think you are right.
I also experience the same malfunction and I conclude that Adobe just doesn't care.

this is a long-due issue that has not been resolved yet - it has nothing to do with the software updates (iOS or Acrobat) - adobe should fix it ASAP

we are paying good $$$ for Adobe's software - the bare minimum is for them to make sure it works well.
