The standard insert signature button is not working on Mac OS. The device has the latest updates (Acrobat is also updated). When it is pressed, nothing happens. On Windows, with the same license account, everything works as expected.
Expected behavior: to show a dropdown with signatures and scans of signatures as on Windows, or to show the possibility to add a new signature.
We are sorry to hear that. Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
Hi @Amal. ,
Thanks for your suggestion. It happens with all PDFs, even if I create a new PDF with Adobe Acrobat.
Unfortunately, none of the suggestions work. I have tried to add a signature through Preferences, but still, when I click the Sign icon or "Fill and sign..." nothing happens. I have tried removing Adobe Acrobat, but still no changes.
We are sorry to hear that the issue still exists. Please collect the Adobe CC logs from the affected machine as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and share them via document cloud link as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html
I have exactly the same issue on a Mac with the latest Acrobat Reader version installed. Do you have any recommendation?
Sadly the problem is still there, and a proper solution is not provided.
We are sorry to hear that. Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html , procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html and the network fiddler logs https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/troubleshoot/diagnostic-logs/run-fiddler-trace for further investigation of the issue
