The pop-up message "Turn almost every file into PDF" keeps coming on every Adobe Acrobat lounch and file opening. There is no "don't show this" button available so I wait every time when opening document for that message to appear so I can close it. Please help how can I remove the message. Thank you.

AI and Google for the win!

AI Overview
To turn off the "turn almost any file into a PDF" pop-up in Adobe Acrobat, navigate to Edit > Preferences (or Acrobat > Preferences on macOS), then go to the General pane. Uncheck the box next to "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat", according to an Adobe Community forum postThis setting will prevent the pop-up from appearing when you launch the application.

To elaborate, this specific message is likely related to Adobe's "Create PDF" feature, which allows users to convert various file types into PDFs. By disabling this preference, you are essentially telling Adobe not to display any general messages when you open the program, including the "Create PDF" prompt.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  1. Open Acrobat: Launch Adobe Acrobat on your computer.

  2. Access Preferences: Go to Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat > Preferences (macOS).

  3. Locate General Settings: In the Preferences window, select General from the left-hand menu.

  4. Disable the Message: Find the checkbox labeled "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat" and uncheck it.

  5. Confirm and Close: Click OK or Apply to save the changes and close the Preferences window.

By following these steps, you should no longer see the "turn almost any file into a PDF" pop-up when you open Adobe Acrobat.

That doesn't work.

The annoying 'Turn your PDF into almost any type of file. No credit card required.' nonsense persists.

It's like Adobe are trying to intentionally annoy their customers.

I've wasted the last 15 minutes trying to find ways to disable all the annoying crap that Adobe displays when I'm trying to open a document.

No idea on the fix - I'm having the same annoyance. Commenting to try keep the post high up the table.

Me too. It has become a very abrasive user experience. But I *may* have discovered a fix just now. Next time you get the popup message, hit the escape key on your keyboard. Then close Adobe and reopen it. I did that by accident and the pop up window seems to be gone now. (I'm on a Mac btw.)

Thank you.  I’ll try that.  I use Win11 so we’ll see.

I did just uninstall and reinstall this morning but haven’t tested it just yet.

I uninstalled and reinstalled - seems to be fine now.  Odd because the reinstall gave me a very updated version which is fine but when I clicked for updates on the 'old' version it told me I had the latest.

I get the same pop up and can't get rid of it.  It also delays me having access to Adobe until it shows up and I x out of it.
