Sudden issues with combining files and PDF opening in random window sizes

Out of the blue, I am having issues with opening and combining files. 

 

Almost every time I try to combine files (from File Explorer on Windows 10), I have to select "combine" twice. Sometimes, I get the "raise without handler!" error, but most of the time it just doesn't take the action and I have to right click and select combine again. 

 

The other issue is all of a sudden, PDFs have started to open up in random sized windows vs full-size (not full-screen) as they always used to. I find myself needing to manually resize every single PDF that I'm opening up now, including when I'm trying to combine files. 

 

I'm losing patience with this, and I have been looking into this every day for weeks now with no changes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. 

 

Is this just my life now? Why would this randomly start happening?

I updated today and now everything is opening in random sizes, even Chrome. Made things worse.

@Tiffany27608428uoyb Thanks for letting us know. 

 

We cannot comment on Chrome's window size.

But for Acrobat, can you try right-clicking the Acrobat icon-> Properties-> Shortcut tab-> click on the dropdown menu to the right of "Run"-> select the window size-> click "Apply"-> Click "Okay" and let us know if the window size issue fixes?

 

Just trying a workaround while the team works on fixing the issue.

That didn't work either, and I believe I've tried it before anyway. Maybe it's just my computer because like I said, now even Chrome and Word documents are opening in random sizes when they always used to open full-size (not full-screen).
