What would be the best Adobe product to edit floor plans that are in PDF format?

  We would like to color code the floor plans to what we will be installing (carpet, vinyl, etc) plus add notes.  We would like to print these plans preferably on 8 1/2 by 11 paper.  Please advise.

There is no good product to edit PDFs, though. Adding notes is ok. If you want to actually edit floor plans you need the original file and app.

You can use the comments tools of Acrobat Reader.
