Acrobat Reader DC error when opening a pdf file

i literally just downloaded adobe reader dc

everytime i try opening a pdf file this pops up someone pls help

It seems like the "Welcome.pdf" file was moved or deleted from the default directory that it used to be in.

Did this error started happening after applying updates in your Acrobat or Windows?

Or haven't you updated yet?

In any case, you can try and open your File Explorer and search for the Welcome.pdf file to see if it is missing at all or to actually find it and remove it completely.

You may also use the Adobe cleaner and repair tool, which will detect and fix many issues from a prior installation, for example.
