Hi there,

I hope you are doing well. Thank you for reaching out.

Acrobat Reader is a freeware application used to read, annotate, and fill & sign PDF files. However, you cannot make permanent changes (edit text or images) to PDF files using Acrobat Reader. For more information, please check the help page.

Could you please share a small video of the workflow/steps you are following when you experience the crash issue? Additionally, let us know if this issue occurs with a specific PDF file or with all PDF files.

Please try opening a different PDF file to check if the problem persists. Ensure you have the latest version (24.02.2089x) installed by going to Help > Check for Updates, and reboot your computer once the update is complete.

If the issue continues, please collect the crash logs following these instructions and share them with us via any cloud storage service. Upload the log file to the cloud, generate a shareable link, and provide that link for further investigation.

Hello there, thanks for your answer,

We are Using Adobe and paying. But we are using Acrobat Reader. So if it´s a free version, i don´t know it named otherwise when we pay for? Is this Adobe Reader Pro or what? So it´s simple i have a formular that we edit. Like Name, Surname, Street and other Information. I send you a Photo here. And the Problem is, it often just hangs and it ´s not working further, so all the Work is gone, because i need to restart Adobe Reader. That´s the main issue.
