I am also having trouble accessing my pdf files - I receive an AcroRd.exe - bad image message. What can I do to access my pdfs?
Hi Teresad,
Sorry for the delay in response.
As you get the error message Bad image, it seems that the Adobe Acrobat Reader installation got corrupted.
Please run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs on your machine.
Then restart your machine and then re-install the application from this link Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
Now try to launch the application and open the PDFs.
Check if you still get the error message.
Let us know how it goes.

Well the link: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs is not functioning. I get this instead:
Check the spelling of the page in the address bar or go back to Adobe Labs homepage and start browsing from there.

I have to create a lot of PDF documents on account of design projects I get. The InDesign creates the PDF but I can not open the document to check if it has all I need...i.e. crop marks, etc. Or simply to look at it. The pop up says something went wrong: Please try launching Acrobat first or contact your administrator. Well it DOES NOT launch and I tried to contact the admin and now I’m here. Very frustrating. Meanwhile $45 comes out every month!!!

I have encountered an issue when converting PDF files to other formats. The converted files appear distorted or jumbled, especially with content in Arabic.
Could you please look into this issue and provide a solution?

The issue you're describing is different to the topic on this post. Acrobat do fail messribly upon exporting a PDF when the content is in Arabic Langauge.
It is been years since we brought this matter to Acrobat team's attention. You may vote on fixing this bug here.
