AcroRd32.exe - Application Error

Hello. My system:
Windows Server 2012R2.
Virtual machine on vmware esxi. I decided to understand this problem, reinstallation does not help. Please help.

After installing Acrobat when it starts, an error occurs:

After changing the compatibility mode on windows 8, it worked. I did it through the compatibility fix wizard. So far, everything is working.

Please note that the latest version of the freeware Acrobat Reader, or Acrobat, is not compatible with the legacy operating system XP. Please see this article for more information: System requirements | Adobe Acrobat Reader.

 

You may try running it in compatibility mode and turned off security settings, but Adobe recommends using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader. By updating installations to

I found out that in compatibility mode with windows xp sp3, it opens and works only in unprotected mode. I look further, I will be glad if anyone helps.

I went further in the program settings.
Editing -> Settings -> Protection (advanced level) there is a disconnect item,
but you won’t get there.
To get around this, you can in the registry along the path HKLM \ Software \ policies \ adobe \ acrobat reader \ * name mashine * \ FeatureLockDown
create a DWORD called bProtectedMode and assign it 0. After that, everything should work.
