Adobe Acrobat DC Issue

I have an issue with one of my users machines. (Windows 10)

Once you open a PDF and email it through the mail function in Acrobat is refuses to open another PDF file but creates another process.

Only after closing the PDF window that was mailed and opening another the PDF opens which i tried opening after mailing.

I have looked around on the internet for a fix, checked compatibility of the program and its not running in compatibility mode.

Changed preferences to not start in protected mode.

Tried changing another setting for opening up in another window but nothing seems to be working.

Anyone have this issue before?

Hi michaelc83729168,

Try "Repair Installation" and "Check for updates" option under the Help menu.

Could you please confirm the dot version of Adobe Acrobat DC installed on your system.

Do you open new PDF from "File menu > Open" option or you simply click on the PDF saved on your system?

I have tried Uninstalling and re-installing the software. Even a repair install

First thing i did was try and check for updates but this is the latest version.

Version 2015.023.0070

I open the PDF directly from where it is saved on the system.

Hi michaelc83729168,

We are not able to reproduce the issue at our end.

Could you please try cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs to remove the Adobe Acrobat DC and then restart your system.

Then try to re-install application from here: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Thanks for reporting the issue.

We investigated into it, on some systems second pdf takes time(~40 s) to get opened.

I did the following steps-

-Opened a PDF

-Attached it to Email and sent the mail

-Double clicked on another PDF to open and waited for sometime. Second pdf took around 30s to get opened.(Though it should not take this much time,we are looking into it.)

Please wait for sometime to see if the second pdf gets opened, it should open without closing the first PDF.
