Adobe DC Reader on Remote Desktop Server

New Here ,
Nov 15, 2021 Nov 15, 2021

Since last week we have an issue with our Remote Desktop Server and Adobe Reader.

At some point in the day Adobe DC Reader is being upgraded to Adobe DC Pro, the only way to roll back is uninstall reboot and install again.

I did this on Friday, from TASKS I deleted the Adobe Update, made a few registry changes that have been listed, everything was fine over the weekend.

Then this afternoon Adobe has converted to Adobe DC again

Hi @Peter21760213nox2

We suggest you to reinstall the application using steps: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/VirtualizationGuide/remotedesktopservices.html

Also please go through  https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/about-acrobat-reader-dc-migration-to-64-bit.html and see if that helps.

Then try to reboot the machine and server.

Let us know how it works at your end. If you have any further queries please feel free to reach out to us.

Regards

Ria
