Adobe Reader DC freezes shortly after opening PDF blueprints with many objects and multiple layers

Hello,
my latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC freezes when I open a PDF document that consists of a more complex blueprint with multiple layers. I use the reader on a Windows 10 22H2 client.

When debugging the .dmp file, error code 0x80000003 appears.

Is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC simply not able to open/edit such complex documents or is there a workaround/fix for this?

I have already tried disabling sandbox protection. I also tried to delete the registry key under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\RdrCEF.exe according to the discussion "Breakpoint Error (0x80000003)".
Unfortunately neither of these helped.

Edit:

Even if i use the flatten "option" of Acrobat Pro Version to combine all layers into one, I also have the same problem when I open the document again with the free Acrobat Reader DC.
