Can someone please explain why Adobe have recently decided that everyone wants the 64bit version of Acrobat Reader??
Its wreaking havok with our server environments where we NEED 32bit.

Hi Ash,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.
Please refer to the suggestion provided in the following coomunity thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/disable-automatic-update-to-64-bit-reader-....
Check if that helps.
Thanks,

Yeah ive seen that thread and Adobe didnt answer the question "why have you done this?", much like you havent answered it either.
I get that this is a free product but Adobe have some responsibility to ensure they dont screw up client systems by making adhoc changes like upgrading 32bit products to 64bit, unannounced.

Still no solution to this. The registry keys that you keep stating are the solution DO NOT WORK.

Dear user, the fixes for this issue have been applied in the latest release so that Reader will not upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit machines on Sever OS machines.
You can get the latest version of 32-bit Reader from:

Dear garav2,
the download (in german for Win10) is the same version than last week....
Additionally to the above problem every time i open a document, the reader wants me to login an start a 30 day test. Crazy. Is ther an update for this problem?
Thanks. Raimund.
