Adobe Reader DC MUI vs Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 MUI ?

New Here ,
Sep 07, 2020 Sep 07, 2020

Hi,

I need to understand something. It looks like Acrobat Reader exists now in 2 distinct versions :

- Adobe Reader DC MUI

- Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 MUI

What is the difference between both ?

Thanks,

Vincent

It has been this way for 5 years. Classic thread (2020) versus continuous thread (DC).

Differences:
in various programs using DDE command,
for Acrobat Reader DC is for example AcroViewA21,
and for Acrobat Reader 2020 is e.g. AcroViewR20.
That is, for DC there is AcroViewAxx and for 2020 there is AcroViewRxx.
