Ok, so first off, my apologies for getting back so late with a reply.

Amal from Adobe staff just posted this guidance a few minutes ago for another user: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/issue-with-acrobat-reader-dc/m-p/11032441?page=1#U11032441

See if by following any of the steps suggested in those additional links helps resolve the issue. Most importantly share a minidup or a full dump

Ok guys, this is not helping.

To say that you have the same problem doesn't help the support community in helping you back.

There is a set of basic information the we need.

The problem and symptoms may appear to be the same for different users, but the hardware and software specification varies, thus the troubleshooting approach is different for each case.

One fix may work for one person but not for everybody else and vice versa.

So when you post a question please include the following information:

  • Adobe Acrobat version and latest update version number
  • The operating system where the Adobe product is producing the problem
  • You video graphics adapter brand and model
  • and briefly describe what steps have followed when trying to resolve the issue

I think we are all experiencing the same issue since our screenshots are pretty much the same. I have opened other PDFS and its with all PDFS, but here is the information you requested.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 20.006.20042

Im using a Lenovo IdeaCentre 64 bit operating system. Windows 10 edition.

AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics (drivers are up to date)

We have deleted and reinstalled adobe. Contacted Lenovo to ensure its not a video card issue, verified drivers. And we are still experiencing this isse. I appreciate any solutions.

Thank you.

Can you elaborate what do you mean by "blackout".

Share a screenshot of what you're getting.

Can't see your screen shot but try this. In Reader go to Edit>Preferences>Page display>Page content and information and check the box that says "Show large images.
