all of a sudden, we are observing a strange behavior in Adobe Acrobat Reader affecting multiple users.
users when open PDF files, they get "Cannot Find or Create the font 'EKCBLC+Arial-BoldMT'. Some Characters may not display or print correctly."
These files work fine on browsers or other pdf applications, but we need a fix for Adobe reader as this is a mass deployed application.
Not sure if this is caused after windows update, or any adobe update for reader.
we installed **"Arial-BoldMT"**, but still no go, there is no font as name **EKCBLC**
kind help is appreciated.

Are these pdf files being created by you or are you getting them from someone else?
The simple answer would be to have the creator of the pdf embed the font information. There is a possibility that the MT font may not allow that. Haven't used one in a while. If that is the case, they would need to use a different non-MT font.

These are emails sent by 3rd party, and we do not have control in the PDF.
The issue is not with one pdf, we are having multiple users reporting the issue
1- 'EKCBLC+Arial-BoldMT'
2- 'ABCDEE+Verdana' and many more cases with variety of fonts with error.
I understand getting Arial versions or Verdana versions of Font.
but the prefix fonts like ELCBLC or ABCEE are wierd behavior we are observing all of a sudden.
Additionaly we did add the fonts in suffix but there is no luck.
