Adobe Reader printing differently to whats on the page

Hello,

This is an extremely weird issue that I am experiencing. We have a form that was created on Acrobat Pro. We use the latest version of Adobe Reader. The form has drop downs and text fields that are editable. When someone enters this information in, they then send it via email to the relevant person. When the relevant person receives the email and opens the PDF the information is there - when they print this PDF form off, completely different information appears.

To be clear, the form and format of the form are identical when printed. The information that displays is different. For example, one of the fields will have "120mm" on the PDF. But when printer, the same field displays "0mm". This happens to multiple different fields. The form looks the same, but the information within the form is different. Of course this is extremely irritating and means we could be gettings things wrong as we technically have 2 of the same forms with different information - but unsure of which one is correct.

If any more information is required please let me know. Like i say, I have never heard of this before in my experience with Adobe. I have looked at different articles but nothing seems to be this issue.

Any and all help is appreciated,

Thanks,

Jamie

Do you know what application the other person is using to open (and print) the file?

Just Adobe Reader also - I have tested it myself so entered the information on the form, sent it to myself via email and printer it - the same thing happens

Can you share the actual file with us? You can attach it to the original message using the tiny paperclip icon at the bottom when you edit it, or upload it to a file-sharing website (like Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc.), generate a share link and then post it here.

Even when you print it? To me and many others who work here, it changes when we print. What version of Adobe Reader are you using?

Strangely enough, we just found out that it works if you use Microsoft Edge as a PDF viewer...
