Adobe Reader won't launch. I don't know if it's related to a recent Microsoft update, but I've deleted and then downloaded and reinstalled the program and it shows up in my installed apps page, but still it won't open pdf documents that I have on my laptop. This is a big problem because I receive bills from service providers in pdf form. Help, please!

I discovered that a Microsoft update had obliterated Adobe. It even obliterated my Office programs (not for the first time). Fortunately, I've now been able to reinstall Acrobat Reader. Thank you.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
