Whenever one of my users tries to open a PDF from Outlook, she gets an error that says something along the lines of "AppContainer Incompatibility in Protected Mode". I would turn off Protected Mode, but when we turn it off, we get the "Acrobat could not load its core DLL". We cannot fix the core DLL error because that requires turning on Protected Mode, and we can't turn on Protected Mode because we get the AppContainer error. I have tried rebooting the computer and repairing the installation from the control panel.

Hi Booty
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the error AppContainer Incompatibility in Protected Mode and when you off the protected mode, you get the "Acrobat could not load its core DLL error message.
Please check the steps shared in the correct answer marked in a similar discussion - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/reader-dc-protected-mode-incompatibility/m-p/9013581 and see if that helps.

Compatibility mode was not checked. Checked it anyway as a test, still didn't work. This is not an issue with my antivirus either.
