Please can someone help me out here, I am having trouble with Adobe reader 11.0.02 installation I have the previous version in my laptop Adobe reader X(10.6) or so but wanted to update to Adobe reader XI(11.0.02), I went to adobe website http://get.adobe.com/reader/ and downloaded the setup for Adobe reader XI 11.0.02, then uninstalled the previous version from my Laptop adobe reader X 10.6 (using administrator right) after which I proceed for the installation of the new one, the installation process went up to %50 and stopped with the message appeared leading ; the download  process has expired( I am installing not downloading at this time, to make it clear), I looked for the installation setup and to my surprise it has disappeared to nowhere, I went to everywhere looking for it but nowhere to find it in my Laptop. I download again on the installation the same strange drama happened.

The setup was successfully downloaded with no interruption.

I disactivated my AVG antivirus before trying to install.

I download from the original source http://get.adobe.com/reader

My OS is windows 7 64 bit.

Java script was set to allow in IE, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome .

My internet security level is set to Medium..

Please can someone help me out here?

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader:

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then, you may download the offline Reader installer from

http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

Dear Claudio Thanks I had 3 versions of Adobe Reader on my PC

Adobe Reader 9.1.2 installed 01/07/2009

Adobe Reader 9.34 installed 08/09/2010

Adobe Reader X(10.1.6) installed 21/02/13

This Tool went through and removed Reader X(10.1.6)

Then ran it again and it removed 9.1.2

Then another run and it  removed 9.34

Have now installed the latest version Adobe Reader X1 (11.0.02)

And its working perfectly .Thank you so much . Cheers from Paul Willis UK.
