The colors, text, and images display fine when I access it in a browser. When I save it to my HD and open it in acrobat, however, it's just a blank white document with the images. However, the text is still selectable and I can highlight and copy and paste it elsewhere. How do I fix this?

Are you opening it in your browser and saving it? If so, try right clicking on the link to the pdf file and saving it without opening it in the browser. Then try opening it in Reader.

More info, please, and maybe a screen shot of the browser and Reader views?
In the browser, is the text white with a colored background and the background is missing in Acrobat?
Have you tried a different browser?

Hi @ado.nin
What is the source of this file, have you received it as an attachment or a link?
After opening it on a Web browser, how do you open it in Adobe Reader? Download/Save the file locally on your machine and open it within Acrobat Reader.
Does it make any difference?

Hi,
I downloaded the file from a link. Then I uploaded the file to my Google Drive. If I open from drive in my browser, it looks fine. But when I open the file in Reader via explorer the text is gone, as above.

I have the same problem. And this phenomenon has also occured to pdf:s I have downloaded earlier from the same shop, and of which I have been able to see the contents before, but not now anymore. Now I only see the pictures, like this:
This is an invoice from a company that I have had a subscription for years now, and never before had encountered problems like this with their invoices.

EDIT: I have now tried a number of other PDF softwares, in Microsoft store as well as on the webb. And none of them had any problems whatsoever to show the actual pdf:s correctly. So there seems to be a lot of probability that something lately has happened to Adobe Reader software, and to that alone.

EDIT: I may have found a solution to this problem. I can't guarantee it works all the way and in all aspects, but it clearly solved my problem with not being able to read neither freshly downloaded nor earlier downloaded pdf files.
I simply uninstalled the Adobe reader software, then downoladed it from adobe.com and installed it. And – bang – the actual pdf:s were in quite the condition I had become used to see them.
