I need to print a Ontario government form today but I couldn't even download it until I got the latest version of Adobe reader (this is what the ON gov't website said and they had the link). So I downloaded it and now I can't print any pdf's. - not the new gov't of ON form and not any of my old pdf's. Up until this upgrade, I've had no trouble printing my pdf documents. There is no error message. When I try to print the document shows up in the printer queue as if it's spooling and going to print, but then a few seconds later, it disappears from the printer queue and nothing gets printed.
- I am using a 13-inch MacBook Air 2020
- my Mac OS is Sequoia 15.6
- my printer is an HP Color LaserJet MFP M283fdw
- I print over wi-fi on a network printer
- the current version of Acrobat Reader on my laptop is 2025.001.20577
Like I said, up until yesterday, the previous version always worked. It's only this new version that's not working for me. I even tried to get back an older version but haven't been able to as the Adobe website only offers me this newer version. It's very frustrating!

@christine_0815 so, one of my freelance gigs is working with the government in IT.... and the issue isn't just Adobe, it's also Chrome too. Some of the staff here always get bent out of shape, and I suggest they use Firefox or Microsoft Edge as Chrome and Adobe Acrobat don't play nicely for some reason (it's how Chrome handles PDF files!). By default, Chrome has its own built-in PDF viewer, which can sometimes conflict with the Adobe Acrobat plug-in or the Acrobat application installed on your computer. When you click on a PDF link in Chrome, it often opens the file using its internal viewer instead of handing it off to Acrobat. But when it comes to government forms, that's a game-changer! I know, it' a really drag especially government forms
