trying to open a pdf from the govt with reader touch but it gave out the " the document you're trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or Higher" message. when i try to open it with the acrobat pro DC it says i need to use the "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" to open it. i installed that from the windows store but it didn't appear on my PC once installed, so now i'm stuck.

Download the PDF to Your Computer:
Instead of opening the PDF directly in your web browser, download it to your local storage.
Right-click on the PDF link and select "Save link as..." to save the file to your desired location.
Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC:
Ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed on your system.
Navigate to the downloaded PDF file, right-click, and choose "Open with" > "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
Set Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as the Default PDF Viewer:

Right-click on any PDF file.
Select "Properties."
Under the "General" tab, click on "Change..." next to "Opens with."
