I installed Acrobat Reader on a Windows 11 machine and am getting a view in which all tools are spread across the screen at different locations as shown in the first image below.
Also, some tools are floating around. which I want to avoid. I want to change the view back to old one I am used to as in second image below. How to get the view on the second imave on a Windows 11 machine.
Hi @sarvendranath34232001zm6e,
Thanks for writing to us. We acknowledge that we are enabling New Acrobat UI for users, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.
In case you still want to switch to the older view, you have the option to switch back to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner on windows, and "View" Menu on Mac. Use option 'Disable New Acrobat' and Acrobat will switch to its classic view.
Regards,

Hooray! Delighted to have the old acrobat back! Now... is there a way to get it to stop taking up real estate with "Try it now!" "Free trial!" Because I'm not gonna.

Please tell us the option to switch to classic view will not go away.
The new version appears horrendous and makes me use MORE clicks than less to accomplish the same simple tasks.
This newer version seems like its still in development because there are items that should still be labeled and menus that should not be on a drop down and should just be on the top bar for easier access.
I hope to keep the old way forever.

When I click on "Menu", there is nothing there that obviously leads to going back to the classic startup screen.
So, what are the detailed steps that nitpicking, technologically challenged Adobe Acrobat user (with Windows 10) must follow ?

Tengo el mismo problema. La pestaña "Deshabilitar nuevo Acrobat" ha desaparecido, ¿qué puedo hacer para volver a la versión anterior?

Sorry but no, this is not an improvement. The menu bar disappeared and an additional click is needed every single time I want to do something. I even had to google it because it's not obvious how to revert it back to normal.

We agree with much of the sentiment here. The biggest grievance we have is that the Generative AI feature seemingly squeezes out buttons like share via email on the menu bar. Features and the convenience of quick access that our employees actually want and use, rather being forced into something because Adobe wants to be trendy.
The annoying part of this it that disabling Generative AI in the Preferences does absolutely Nothing!!! Why offer this ability if it won’t remove the feature at all? When we disable this feature in preferences it leaves it in place and seemingly functional in the menu bar! Yes, you can get to the email option via the Share button, but this is now a multi-click effort that has disappointed many.
How about you actually let us customize that part of the menu bar, or at least acknowledge the disabling of Generative AI by actually removing it from the GUI! Suggesting that people revert back to the old GUI is a poor solution and just makes Adobe look bad by even mentioning it!
