chinese font

I have got Adobe reader 9.5.5

I try to download a pdf from a web site, and it displays Chinese characters (and English), but get message saying I need to install simplified Chinese package.

As I can see Chines characters, I am a bit surprised, but I cannot find the required package, and don't know what to do. I have tried 'update', but it says nothing is available!

These are the font packs for Reader 9 in Windows (not for any other product or version). Choose the one you need: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.0/misc/
