Corrupt interactive pdf file

Hi,

I was working with my interactive pdf file on my pen drive. I closed my pen drive but when i wanted to open my pdf file, It was corrupted file warning that i got. I need to open this file urgently. Somebody help me_ please?

I may actually be corrupt. If so, I'm not sure of any definite way to fix it. There are some softwares that work on corrupt pdf files around but I can't vouch for any.

What is the exact message you get? What version of Reader? Have you tried copying it to your computer and opening from there (which is also what you should be doing when working on the pdf.)?

The file is damaged and could not be repaired. There was an error openning this document. I tried everything, but i couldnt manage to solve my problem. I have sitting in front of my pc since more than 7 hours.

Please help me. I can send you the file.

No need. I can't fix it for you. Generally, when you get that message it's all over. Open the file in a text editor (so you can see the code) and copy/paste the first 3-4 lines of code here.

In the end, this may be a lesson learned. Copy your files from your pen drive, work on them, then copy them back.

Ok. Looks like it's at least a valid pdf file. Not sure what to tell you. You "could" Google around and see if you can find some tool that repairs pdf's but again, I can't recommend any. They're all hit and miss.
