Crash after putting sticky notes

After highlighting some phrases on a pdf file using Acrobat Reader DC, when trying to write notes related to it, sometimes it crashes. For example the most common issue was when I tried to write "something = ".

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above Adobe Reader DC is crashing while highlighting any text, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader DC from Help>Check for updates. You may also repair the installation files of Adobe Reader from Help>Repair installation(only for Windows).

Restart the machine after the installation of updates and repair. You may also refer to Resolve Acrobat DC intermittent crashes on Windows

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

• Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
• Dot version of Adobe Reader installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
• Is it crashing with one specific PDF file, or with all the PDF files?
