Default Comments & Forms field when printing always reverts to "Form fields only".

As of two days ago, one user is now facing an issue on an RDS server, shared with multiple other people (who do not have this issue) where the user goes to print a PDF and instead of seeing the document ready to print in the preview window, it is blank. On further investigation we can see the Comments & Forms drop down box is defaulting to "Form fields only" and I cannot find anywhere to change this default setting. The document prints fine when changed to "Document and Markups". On another device I do not even see the "Form fields only" option and on another user profile on the RDS server I can see the option for "Forms fields only" but "Documents and Markups" is the default.
Anyone have any ideas where to change this setting?

This option is not available in Acrobat Reader. It is only available in Adobe Acrobat.

Could there be any reason this has only just started happening to just this one specific user if the option is not available on Adobe Reader? They also have Adobe Acrobat DC installed on the RDS but this user does not use it at all. Sorry if that's crucial info there.

Is there a way to change the comments and forms default? This same thing is happening to me.

Once you change it to "Document & Markups." it should preserve these settings for next time. If it keeps resetting and reverting to Form Fields only, then

1- What is the current version of Acrobat?

2- Try resetting the application's preferences once: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

Thanks,

I just  had this happen (24 April 23)  as well. To keep Comments & Forms defaulted to "Document": Select Document from the drop-down menu, and then immediately print at least one page. It will stay defaulted to Document. If you select Document and then cancel before printing it reverts to Form Fields only.
