Disabling touch mode by default for Reader XI

I am looking to turn off touch mode by default for Reader XI.  I tried the customization wizard and there is no settings for touch mode.  The registry keys for the settings are in the local user area so I don't think I can apply those for everyone.

Has anyone else looked into this or know a solution?

You can set how Acrobat enters Touch mode, if at all, for touch enabled-devices.

1. Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat/Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac OS).
2. Under Categories, select General.
3. In Basic Tools, choose the desired default setting from the Touch Mode menu.

Thanks. That's very helpful. It's super annoying that it always defaults to Touch Mode, and I never figured out how to change the setting on my own, but your approach worked.
