Hi riccardof84608889,

Thanks for reporting the issue!

If you are using email client:Outlook, please share the following info-

1. Version of Outlook with bit info(32 or 64-bit) with track info ProPlus/Standard?

-for checking this info: Launch Outlook, Goto File->Office Account->About Outlook

2. Outlook Cache Enabled/Disabled? If is disabled please try after enabling it.

To do this follow the steps:

-Open Outlook and Goto File->Account Settings->Account Settings

-Select the email account you are using and click on "Change" and tick the check-box "Use Cached Exchange Mode".

-Click Next and then click Finish

-Restart the Outlook and try to attach any pdf.

3. If step-2 does not work then disable protected mode in Adobe Reader and then try to send email.

To do this follow the steps:

     -Open Adobe Reader

-Open Goto Edit->Preferences->Security (Enhanced) and un-tick the checkbox "Enable Enhanced Security"

-Click OK to save the changes and Restart Adobe Reader

-Now try to attach any PDF.

Kindly share your observations.

Regards,

Arvind

Hi riccardof84608889,

Thanks for the info.

The said preference can also be changed by modifying registry.

You need to modify the DWORD "bProtectedMode" and set its value as 0(zero).

Kindly follow the steps:

-Open registry editor on your system

-Goto [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\Trunk\Privileged]

-Double click on "bProtectedMode" and set its value 1 then click OK to save.

-Restart Adobe Reader and try to attach any PDF.

Kindly share the results. Also could you please let us know if Email issue occurs only with the latest version of Reader, older versions used to work fine?

Regards,

Arvind
