Emailing document stuck

I am sharing a document via email. it has been stuck on "sending file...." for about 15 minutes now. I tried shutting down the laptop, but it is still stuck.

Hi Lovingrose,

As mentioned above, you are sharing a document via email and its getting stuck for about 15-minutes. Sharing document via email, there's no way where Acrobat involved in this process, unless you aren't using its own "Share" feature.

If you are sharing pdf using Adobe Acrobat or Reader via email and then its getting stuck, in that case you may check couple of things mentioned below-

1- What is the size of pdf file? Try with a file that's smaller in size. Does it get stuck with all the files sharing via email?

2- Check your Adobe Reader version, and update it to the most latest one. Open Reader>Help>Check for update.

3- For testing change the following preferences setting, Open reader>Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)> disable Protected View and Enhanced security.

Note: Changing the above security settings could pose security risks. We suggest you to turn it back On once you are done with testing.
