How do I download an embedded Excel document from an Adobe Reader pdf document? Our Adobe Acrobat Reader version is 11.0.22.
Brian.
Hello Brian,
Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. If an Excel document is embedded in a PDF file, you can see the Excel file as an attachment from the file.
Open the PDF file, on the left side, look for attachment icon, click on it and you will be able to open the Excel file embedded.
You may also refer to Links and attachments in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Anand Sri.

This doesn't answer the original poster's question.
Yes you can have an Excel document as an attachment, this is clear and easy to do. Is there a way to then use a clickable link in the PDF to directly call upon the attached Excel file to then open Excel without having to go to the attachments menu?
This seems like a simple request within the program given it will do effectively the same thing when the same Excel file is resident on the web or on the computer Acrobat is running on.

I also want to know this? I want to link to the attachment, without finding the paperclip on the left.
