Error:Cannot start the source application for this object

Hello Team,

I am opening the attached PDF file in the excel, it is getting open, But there one warning message comes, " Cannot start the source application for this object". Again repeating file is getting open, no issue with that, but just wanted to get rid of this prompting message. Currently i am working with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional. So please assist on it ASAP.

Hi rahuljoshi,

Could you please let us know if you get the error " Cannot start the source application for this object" while opening a particular file or with other files as well.

Please try once to open this file with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and check if you get the same error message.

You can install Reader from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

It will be helpful if you can share the OS version installed on your system.

Would also like to inform you that Adobe Acrobat 7 is an old and unsupported version.
