Error converting PDF to Word (Reader)

I am tying to convert a PDF document to a Word document. When doing so, a blue box pops up on the right hand side saying 'error when signing in'. I have changed my password twice now and signed into Adobe with no problem. I have also tried accessing the converter through different browsers. This box only pops up when I am trying to convert to Word (or edit a PDF). See screen shot.

[Moved by moderator to Acrobat Reader because screenshot displays Acrobat Reader, not full version of Acrobat. Title edited.]

Thank you for trying to help!

Logging in actually does not seem to be the problem however, even though that is what the error says. In the screen shot in my previous post you can see that I am actually logged in - it just fails to register when I try and do something with the pdf.

Before posting on the Forum I tried converting the document using the link you suggest. I even tried it in 2 different web browsers. Again, I seem to log in fine, it is the conversion that is problematic. Through this link it converts the pdf to a Word Doc, but there is no text in the document. See screen shot below.

Just curious, can you convert a pdf to Word using a different pdf file from a completely different source?

Good question!

I just tried it on a number of documents and it appears to be variable. It works on some and not on others.

Thank you

I'd start looking at how the pdf's were created. If you go to File>Properties>Description>Advanced and look at PDF Producer, you may find that they were created by third party pdf applications. Could be something in the way they are producing the files. Some are decent at it, some are very bad at it.
