Extract image certificate signature

Hello,

Is it possible to extract my signature image from a PDF file that is signed with a PKI certificate? So when I sign with a certificate and also have my signature as an image added to the document is it possible to extract that signature image and abuse it by adding it to another document?

Kind Regards,

Pascal

If your signature is on the page it can be captured and copied in seconds. A certificate cannot be copied, it is not stored.

How is it possible? I do not mean copy paste but extract the image used for the signature. The PDF file is signed with a PKI certificate with the option lock file for editing.
