Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html and logon with your Adobe ID. If you have or even had a plan, you had to have created an Adobe ID.
At the bottom right corner of the screen there is a circle with a comic balloon enclosing an ellipse. Click on that. It opens up with a chat box. Click on the contact options link that should give you the option of calling Adobe directly. If that option is not available, type agent into the chat and a live agent will work with you to resolve your issue.

As I said it doesn't exist. I am signed in, there is no 'comic balloon'.

Hi Dov..
In a related matter to this post, I`m trying to contact the devlopement team at Adobe to explore a possible enhancement to Adobe Reader for the higher education community. I would utimately like to pitch an idea and become involved, if the idea is deemed worthy, in the development of the tool.
How would you suggest I go about this?
Thanking you in advance for any help or advice you can provide.
Jack

Dov has recently left Adobe, I believe. In general you cannot "contact development teams". Adobe, like big and small software companies has a large team of people devoted to making quite sure this can never happen. There is a suggestion page, and you have already been referred to it. It's important to follow the correct procedures, the work Adobe does depends on what comes in through the proper channels, and the number of votes your proposal might get.

But I`m concerened that my idea will be developed by others on the forum...how do I get around this impasse

Trying to pitch a great idea to a huge company which is already paying hundreds of people to have all the ideas is a very difficult process, I should say. If your hope is to make money from the idea, I suggest you fund its development yourself (or through backers). If it's a good idea why are you concerned who actually develops it?

Its actually a very simpe extension of the current adobe reader platform...
Given the Adobe is the most successful company...I thought it would be logical to cotact them since most Universities (including students and staff) use Adobe sofware

Logic and big companies rarely go together. If you want to keep the idea a secret, so be it. If you would like feedback on whether it is possible, practical, could be a plug-in (third party), or can already be done another way, feel free to post. But I suggest you start a new thread; nobody is going to read it here because of the thread title.
