I would love Adobe Acrobat Reader to support remembering last viewed page, as DejaVu does!

You can enable this in the preferences of Acrobat Reader (Category Documents).

Edit (or the application menu if you're on a Mac) - Preferences - Documents - tick "Restore last view settings when reopening documents".

This answer appears to be incorrect. As many other users have stated, Restore Last View Settings appears to do absolutely nothing in the newer versions. It neither remembers page numbers nor toolbar layout/show/hide.

Open the menu and go to preferences(CTRL+k). At the top left, under categories choose "documents".  In the main window, under "open settings" check the box next to "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" and then at the bottom right click on the "OK" button.

Are you unable to read English? You just gave the answer I stated does not work for many users with the new version. Stop being a troll. No one likes trolls.

I highly doubt it that if we were face to face you had the guts to talk to me like this. It works fine for me, so maybe you should get educated.

My comment SPECIFICALLY confirmed what countless other people have found, and it stated that. You mistakenly didn't read or consider that other factors like OS version or geographic release differences could be causing some people to have this issue. Your attempt to suggest that you could or would physically intimidate only makes you look like a small man with low character. In the usa, we have a judicial system that deals with threats and let's people like you go hang out with others like yourself -- prison.
